My first hair trim

My moms took me to get my bangs trimmed so I can see better when I'm trying to crawl places.  I sat on Ema's lap while a tv was playing in front of us as the lady snipped away at my hair.  My moms say it's too short, but I'm just excited that I can see.

Gobble Gobble

We spent a sweet Turkey Day and beginnings of Hannukah with my three favorite Floridians.  We kept very busy on our visit- hunting for alligators on our nature walk, eating turkey, opening Hannukah gifts, feeding birds at the zoo, carousels, eating turkey, opening Hannukah gifts, building up my immune system at an indoor play park, swinging at the beach - and oh ya opening Hannukah gifts. I am such a lucky boy- Thank You xoxo Bubbie, Grandpa D and Lucy.

Current Curiosity: Bipedalism

On Friday my mom legally became my mom - just in case we travel to some other states or exotic countries that might be jealous that I have two moms.

The dude in the black robe, whose breath smelled like justice, reminded my mom that all children - whether they are natural or adopted or step are the same and that she was now making a lifelong promise to hold me accountable to always clean my room. He seemed nice enough, but little did he know she's been having me do chores (without pay) since I've been in the womb.

Mar Vista

My Mom and Ema took us on a weekend getaway up the coast to a sweet little place called Mar Vista.  We got to play with some goats, eat fresh chicken eggs, see bunnies, pick fresh flowers and harvest delish veggies from the gardens.  We also hit the beach where Katie and I spent time digging for treasure.  Not sure how much R&R my mom's got trying to keep me away from the wood stove and eating sand but i cant wait to go back.

i turned ONE!

I am cruizin' around mostly trying to avoid a bruizin', pulling cat tails and dog ears, pointing and uhming at EVEYTHING, a little bossy but my snuggles are so sweet, thank you to all for my birthday treats.

St Maarten

As a pre-celebration to my Ema's 40th birthday, we took a trip to St. Maarten.  Lucky me that I got to go to such a beautiful place where the ocean is crystal clear and the sky is always blue.  We met up with Ema's friend Dawn and her family and Aunt Anna, Uncle Gabe and Cousin Meyer.  I got to hang with the big kids for the week!

Crawling

I finally figured it out!  Instead of just rocking back and forth in the same place, I need to put one hand in front of the other and let my knees follow.  I'm having a blast exploring now that I'm more mobile!

August

The last month of summer and my mom's wanted to pack in lots of things to do!  A trip to Fire Island to visit my Aunt Anna, Uncle Gabe and Cousin Meyer, A Glamping trip with Bubbie, Seattle for my Aunts Teriann and Jane's wedding, and lots of swinging, playing and swimming in between.  See for yourself!

My best friends birthday

Marie turned 1 today. I took her on a chaperoned birthday date to little farm -Happy Birthday to my lady! 

 

Uncle james

Moms brother- uncle james came to visit us in oakland - FINALLY. what a fun weekend we had together rooting on the A's and exploring the Academy of sciences. Next time its shaving lessons and periodic tables. 

Current curiosity: clapping - wherever, whenever but especially if i am holding something- i say the messier the better.

8 month check up

DC

I spent a wonderful long weekend in DC spending time with some very special people. 
Not only did I get to meet my Great Grandparents and spend some QT with all the exceptional someones who live in DC - I was so lucky that my cousin Meyer drove down from NY  and that my Bubbie, Grandpa David and Aunt Lucy drove up from Florida.

Some precious moments spent with Baba and Zeida, a delicious Shabbat Dinner prepared by Uncle Gabe and Aunt Anna, a terrific Shabbat day at my Elter Bubbies and a sweet lunch at Zeidey and GG's. 

I miss everyone already!
